Meet Your Librarian
Vicky Polk

I am happy to introduce myself as your new librarian at Mendenhall High School.

I have been married for 24 years to my husband Clif and I have 2 children, Ashley and Kolby.

I earned my Associates Degree from Hinds Community College and my Bachelors degree in Computer Science and my Master's Degree in Education from Mississippi College.

I have been in Education for 15 years. I taught for 14 years at Simpson Central. During my tenure at SCS I taught Computer Discovery, Career Discovery, ICT I, ICT II and Keystone. This is my first year at Mendenhall High School and in the position of Library Media Specialist. I am very excited to be your school librarian and to serve the students and teachers at Mendenhall High School.

I look forward to seeing you in the Library.

I leave you with this quote by Dr. Seuss -
The more you read, the more things you'll know.
The more you learn, the more places you'll go.
